Mr. Toosi has over ten years of experience in the design and management of analog and RF integrated products. He founded SiTune Corporation in September 2006, and he has been the CEO since then. Prior to being at SiTune, Mr. Toosi was a senior technical staff member at Ikanos Communications (Nasdaq: IKAN), where he solved many crucial technical problems and managed several products into the production stage. Prior to Ikanos, Mr. Toosi was with BroadNav Integrated Products, where he served as the Director of Engineering. He managed a group of talented RF team to design GPS RF intellectual property. He was also with other companies such as TaraCom, where he contributed to the design of the Gigabit Ethernet chipsets for backplane and fiber optics. Mr. Toosi received his Master of Engineering with honors from Sharif University of Technology in 1999. He has six pending patents in the area of analog and wireless systems. Mr. Heydari is a veteran in the mobile technology market, with over twelve years of experience in sales and technical marketing of telecom equipment, systems, and solutions. Prior to joining SiTune, he was the Director of Sales at Ericsson AB, where he was responsible for creating many new opportunities in various markets, and managing key accounts. Mr. Heydari is the author of one U.S. pending patent. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Dr. Sam Heidari is Quantenna CEO. Prior to Quantenna, Dr. Heidari was the CTO and a Vice President of Ikanos Communications (Nasdaq: IKAN), where he previously held many Doradus Technologies, where he served as President and CEO. Prior to Doradus Technologies, he held senior management and technical positions in the areas of xDSL, cellular, and satellite communications at Sony Electronics, Linkabit Wireless and Torrey Communications. Dr. Heidari is a managing partner at Green Lane Investments, LLC. He is serving on the advisory board for the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California, and had served on the board of directors of Center for Telecommunication Management. Dr. Heidari has authored and published over a dozen refereed journals and conference papers. He is a Senior member of IEEE and holds 20 U.S. patents and has over 10 patents pending. Dr. Heidari has been a major contributor in the IEEE, ITU-T, TTC, and TIA-TR standard organizations. Dr. Heidari earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Southern California, and a B.S. degree from Northeastern University, all in Electrical Engineering. |
